With Apple now officially on the massive phone bandwagon with iPhone 6 Plus, there are less people mocking Samsung’s Galaxy Note series. They were once seen as for the fringe market—for those crazy people who wanted to make phone calls with a device that is nearly as big as a tablet.

The iPhone 6 Plus has brought upon users some real decisions to make when it comes to buying a large smartphone. Should Android owners switch back to iPhone? Should iPhone owners looking for a big screen consider the Note 4?

Paste Magazine give five reasons why you should consider the Galaxy Note 4 over the iPhone 6 Plus:

1. Larger screen, smaller size

Although the Galaxy Note 4 has a larger display than the iPhone 6 Plus, it actually feels a bit smaller to hold in the hand. Because the 6 Plus has to make room for its circular home button and has rather large bezels, it has a rather tall 6.2-inch height compared to the 6.04-inch of the Galaxy Note 4. Meanwhile, the Note 4 actually has a massive and vibrant 5.7-inch display compared to the smaller 5.5-inch display of the iPhone 6 Plus.

When it comes to down it, you get more display for content and less wasted space.

2. True Stylus Support

One of the Note’s biggest draws has always been the S Pen stylus that it comes with. Because the device is made for its proprietary stylus, it’s extremely functional and reactive—especially compared to using a third party stylus on an iPhone.

The S Pen is as helpful as ever on the Note 4 and opens up a variety of options and tools in the software. Most importantly, you’ll always have the stylus on you because of the completely non-intrusive slot it has in the back of the phone.

3. Multitasking

Those hoping that the bigger screen of the iPhone 6 Plus is going to help them with productivity and work should seriously consider it’s inability to do true multitasking. With the Note 4, you’ve got the ability to open up apps side by side and run both simultaneously.

That means doing things like copying in one app and pasting into another is way quicker and keeping an eye on something like email or Twitter is really easy as well. If you want to get serious about doing work on the go, there’s no better solution than the Galaxy Note 4.

4. Ultra Power Saving Mode

Both the 6 Plus and the Note 4 come with massive batteries that should last at least all day. However, the Ultra Power Saving mode that comes with the Note 4 will be a huge benefit for power users.

The Ultra Power Saving mode essentially turns your phone into a greyscale brick phone reserved only for phone calls, texts, and manually refreshed email. It can turn a ten percent battery into hours of battery life, which makes it a really great safety feature.

5. Removable battery, expandable storage

We all love unibody designs like the ones on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. They always end up feeling both aesthetically pleasing and sturdy. However, the benefits of the Galaxy Note 4 in this department is that because is it has a removable back, you have access to the battery and an SD slot. It’s been one of the biggest advantages Android devices have had over iPhones for years—and it remains a tipping point for a lot of buyers.

The SD slot alone lets you upgrade your storage at a fraction of the cost and replace your battery a couple years down the road. If that sounds good to you, the Note 4 is the device for you.
